Between 4-16 March, Gold Coasters have an important decision to make.

 

As our city grows and prospers, we must protect the lifestyle we all love. 

 

At the heart of our lifestyle is preserving our green and open space, improving public transport, ensuring our beaches are clean and safe and developing new world-class community facilities. 

 

I lead a Council that has delivered the lowest rate increases in our city’s history - 12 years of consecutive low rates.

I have worked with Council to:

​

• stimulate our economy;

• respond to major natural disasters like the Christmas Day storms and floods;

• create low unemployment - lower than the state average;

• deliver free seniors and veterans travel;

• deliver record investment on roads and public transport;

• create a green space scheme specific to wildlife habitat protection including koalas;

• wipe out more than $300 million of our council’s debt.

Between 4-16 March, I ask for your vote to give me the opportunity to continue to lead our city.
